RF Body Sculpt™

Body Contouring & Skin Tightening

LaSalle, Windsor, ON

You've done the work but there's still an area or two that won't respond no matter how disciplined you are in your diet and exercise.

RF Body Sculpt™ uses radiofrequency and VermaDerm infrared to gently heat the fat layer and the supportive tissue above it, reducing circumference in a targeted area while tightening the skin over top. No incisions, no anaesthetic, no recovery time.

Published reviews of non-invasive fat reduction report circumference reductions of 2 cm or more across the abdomen, hips and thighs, with reductions in fat layer thickness that occurred independently of any change in body weight.

It's the treatment for the specific spot that diet and exercise can't reach, not a substitute for either.

Why RF Body Sculpt Is Better at Revery

Your Consultation Starts with Measurement, Not a Menu.
We record baseline circumference at the treatment site, note your current weight, and set a follow-up measurement date. Published research repeatedly found that circumference reduction happened independently of weight change, which means measuring both is the only way to know what the treatment actually did versus what your scale did. You'll see those numbers. So will we.

Physician-Led Protocols
Our medical director, Dr. Bryce Leontowicz, reviews every candidacy decision. He spent years in emergency and critical care before founding Revery, and he'll tell you when heat-based contouring is the wrong tool. Published clinical guidance is direct that device-based fat reduction isn't appropriate for a high BMI or general weight concerns, and lists unrealistic expectations as a precaution in its own right, alongside pacemakers, defibrillators, metal implants in the area, and pregnancy.

We Don't Sell Single Areas that Don't Respond.
In a trial of 39 women given eight weekly sessions, the abdomen and thighs showed significant circumference reduction while the buttocks and arms did not. That's the kind of detail that changes what you should book, and you'll hear it before you pay rather than after.

We'll Tell You if You're Not a Candidate.
Device-based fat reduction is not suited to a high BMI or general weight concerns, which are better addressed through diet and exercise first. Health Canada's American counterpart, the FDA, states plainly that non-invasive body contouring does not treat obesity, will not produce weight loss, and does not deliver the health benefits that come with weight loss. If that's what you're after, this isn't it, and you'll hear that in your consultation instead of discovering it after paying for a package.

What Is RF Body Sculpt™?

RF Body Sculpt™ is a two-tiered approach to body contouring and skin tightening. Two things happen in the same session, and they address two separate problems.

  1. The first is circumference reduction. Radiofrequency energy gently heats the fat layer beneath your skin. Heated fat cells release their stored contents and reduce in size, and that released material clears through the body's normal circulatory and lymphatic routes. The area measures smaller. Your weight doesn't necessarily change, and published research has repeatedly found that reduction in fat layer thickness happened independently of weight change.
  2. The second is tightening. Losing volume in an area with already-loose skin can leave it looser. Heat causes existing collagen fibres to contract on contact, then triggers a repair response that builds new collagen and elastin over the following weeks. That's why the infrared step follows the radiofrequency step rather than replacing it.

Cellulite responds to both mechanisms at once. It's caused by enlarged fat cells pressing up against weakened fibrous connective tissue in the skin above. Reduce the fat cells, strengthen the connective tissue, and the dimpling flattens. Cellulite affects an estimated 80% to 90% of women after puberty, which makes it one of the most common reasons people ask about this treatment.

Treatable areas include the abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, and the neck and under-chin area. Loose skin after weight loss or pregnancy is one of the more common reasons people come in.

The Technology

Two energies, two depths, one appointment.

Radiofrequency
A high-frequency electrical current passes into the tissue, and the tissue's own electrical resistance converts it to heat. Nothing is absorbed by pigment, which is why radiofrequency can be used across a wide range of skin tones. SharpLight's body handpiece is multipolar, using six cylindrical electrodes, and delivers up to 50 watts. A 2026 retrospective analysis of 84 patients found multipolar radiofrequency outperformed monopolar on skin elasticity measures, with 90.5% of multipolar patients maintaining effective improvement at 12 months versus 57.1% of monopolar patients. That study was retrospective and single-centre, so treat it as supporting evidence rather than proof.

VermaDerm long-pulse infrared
Wavelengths from 850 to 1750 nm are absorbed by water in the tissue and reach up to 4 to 5 mm below the surface, deep enough to target the reticular dermis where structural collagen sits. Fluence is adjustable up to 60 J/cm² with pulses up to six seconds long, and the body handpiece covers 6.4 cm² per pulse for efficient work over larger areas.

Both handpieces use a contact-cooled sapphire window, pre-cooled to roughly 10°C and cooling continuously during each pulse. SharpLight's technical documentation reports epidermal temperature held below 40°C while the dermis reaches the 50°C to 60°C range where collagen contraction occurs. That's the entire reason this treatment has no downtime.

Why It's Better Than Other Body Contouring Approaches

Surgical body contouring cuts out skin or vacuums fat through an incision. RF Body Sculpt™ heats tissue and leaves it where it is, which is why there's nothing to heal afterward. Published safety data on radiofrequency body treatment reports transient heat sensation, mild discomfort, redness and swelling as the main side effects, all resolving without intervention and with no serious or long-term complications reported. Nobody needs numbing cream, and the sensation itself is deep warmth with a massage-like quality from the moving handpiece.

Skin tone isn't a limiting factor either, because radiofrequency doesn't target melanin. A study of 22 patients with Fitzpatrick skin types III to V found bipolar radiofrequency body contouring safe across that range, with all patients showing some degree of circumference reduction and stable weight throughout.

The other advantage is that it addresses fat and loose skin in the same session. Liposuction and weight loss both reduce volume, and neither one does anything about the skin left behind. Combining heat-based fat reduction with collagen stimulation handles both at once, and published reviews specifically identify this dual action as a benefit of energy-based methods.

The results are documented in measurements, not just satisfaction surveys. In a trial of 39 women given eight weekly radiofrequency sessions, abdominal circumference dropped an average of 3.5 cm and thigh circumference 1.7 cm, both statistically significant, with the reductions sustained four weeks after the final session, and cellulite improved by roughly 50% on physician grading.

A separate study of 30 women given four weekly sessions recorded average reductions of 2.31 cm at the hips and 2.13 cm at the thighs, with ultrasound confirming reduced fat thickness alongside thickening of the dermis and cellulite improving in 93% of cases.

Aftercare + Results

Most people book this because of one specific thing. The jeans that button but cut into your waist. The upper arms they've stopped photographing. The stomach that looked different before the second baby and never quite came back.

Here's what changes. In a study of 39 women given eight weekly radiofrequency sessions, abdominal circumference dropped an average of 3.5 cm and thighs came down 1.7 cm, and those numbers held four weeks after the final visit. Cellulite improved by roughly 50% on physician grading. Another study of 30 women recorded 2.31 cm off the hips and 2.13 cm off each thigh after just four sessions, with cellulite visibly reduced in 93% of cases.

Your scale probably won't move. That's the interesting part. Research found circumference reduction happening independently of weight change, which means the difference you notice isn't coming from anywhere else. It's the area itself.
