Three New Treatments Now Available at Revery

There's a gap in most treatment menus, and you've probably run into it.

Injectables handle wrinkles and volume. Skincare handles the surface. But nothing on that list addresses skin that's lost its firmness, or scarring that sits below the surface, or the one area of your body that stays exactly the same no matter how consistent you are at the gym.

Three new treatments have arrived at Revery to fill that gap. Each one uses controlled heat rather than needles or incisions, and each one solves a problem the rest of our menu couldn't.

RF Body Sculpt

The frustrating part about stubborn fat is that it's usually the last thing standing. Everything else responded. This one area didn't.

RF Body Sculpt uses radiofrequency energy to warm the fat layer beneath your skin, which causes fat cells to release their stored contents and reduce in size. A second pass with infrared tightens the skin above, because reducing volume in an area that's already loose can leave it looser.

Published reviews of non-invasive body contouring report circumference reductions of 2 to 4 cm over a full course of sessions. In one trial of 39 women given eight weekly treatments, abdominal circumference dropped an average of 3.5 cm and thighs came down 1.7 cm, with the reductions still holding four weeks later. A separate study of 30 women recorded 2.31 cm off the hips and 2.13 cm off each thigh after just four sessions, with cellulite visibly improved in 93% of cases.

Your weight likely won't change, and that's the interesting part. Multiple studies found the reduction in fat layer thickness happened independently of any weight change, meaning the difference you see in the mirror isn't coming from somewhere else.

What it won't do is produce weight loss or treat obesity. The FDA states that plainly about all non-invasive body contouring, and we'd rather repeat it than let you find out later.

Treatable areas include the abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs, arms and under the chin. No numbing, no downtime, and most people describe it as a deep, warm massage.

Thermal Face Lift

You notice it in photos before you notice it in the mirror. The jawline softens into the neck. The cheeks sit lower than they used to.

Filler restores volume and Botox smooths movement. Neither one tightens skin that's simply lost its structure, which is why some people keep adding product and still don't get the result they want.

Thermal Face Lift combines radiofrequency and long-pulse infrared to heat the dermis, the supportive layer beneath your skin's surface. Heat causes existing collagen fibres to contract on contact, then triggers a repair response that builds new collagen over the following months. A cooled sapphire window holds the outer layer of skin below 40°C the entire time, which is why there's no recovery period.

A 2025 systematic review covering 15 studies and 1,230 participants found skin firmness improved in 52.9% to 100% of patients, skin texture in 71% to 100%, and patient satisfaction between 82% and 100%. The average pain rating across four of those studies was 1.94 out of 10.

Because radiofrequency doesn't target melanin, it works across a wide range of skin tones. Most people find it genuinely relaxing.

ResurFace™ Laser Skin Resurfacing

Some things sit deeper than skincare can reach. Acne scarring from fifteen years ago. Texture that's gone rough and won't smooth out. Sun damage that's stopped responding to anything you put on it.

ResurFace™ Laser Skin Resurfacing uses an Er:YAG 2940 nm fractional laser to remove microscopic columns of damaged surface skin, leaving the tissue between those columns untouched so healthy cells drive the repair. The 2940 nm wavelength sits at the peak absorption point of water in skin, absorbed 12 to 18 times more strongly than the wavelength used by CO2 lasers. Energy stays where it's aimed instead of spreading into deeper tissue.

That precision buys you time. Published guidance recommends one to three days away from work after fractional Er:YAG resurfacing, compared with four to ten days after fractional CO2.

In clinical trials, three sessions improved atrophic acne scar scores by roughly 35%, and four sessions produced a roughly 44% reduction on a separate scarring scale. Meaningful improvement, not erasure. That distinction matters, and no laser on the market gets past it.

This one does involve real downtime. Expect a few days of redness and flaking. It's the trade-off for the deepest change of the three treatments.

How to Tell Which One You Need

Different problems, different tools.

If your concern is the surface of your skin, scarring, rough texture, sun damage, enlarged pores, that's resurfacing. If it's firmness, along the jaw, on the neck, under the chin, that's Thermal Face Lift. If it's a specific area of your body that won't respond to diet and exercise, that's RF Body Sculpt.

Plenty of people have more than one of these. Combining them is usually the better plan, and the sequencing matters, which is why every protocol here is reviewed by Dr. Bryce Leontowicz before it's booked.

That review also covers whether you should have the treatment at all. Radiofrequency isn't appropriate if you have an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator, metal implants in the treatment area, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Resurfacing has its own screening list, including recent isotretinoin use, a history of raised scarring and a tendency toward cold sores. None of that gets skipped here.

Come in and Ask

Bring the specific thing that bothers you. Not "my skin looks tired," but the actual concern. The scarring across your cheeks. The way your jawline reads differently in photos than it did a few years ago. The area you've stopped trying to fix.

That's what makes a consultation useful, and consultations at Revery are complimentary. You'll get an honest answer about which of these suits your skin, what results are realistic, and whether something else would serve you better.

We're at 1468 Front Rd, Unit 2 in LaSalle, with free on-site parking.
