Chronic joint pain can limit your movement, impact your sleep, and hold you back from living life the way you want to.
At Revery Medical Aesthetics, we offer joint injections to help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and support joint function — all performed by Dr. Bryce Leontowicz.
Whether you’ve been referred for a steroid injection or are exploring regenerative options like PRP or hyaluronic acid, we’re here to provide safe, professional treatment tailored to exactly what you need.
Please note: We do not offer injections for the back, neck, or hips. All joint injections are provided by referral only.
Injections Over Surgery
Joint injections performed by our head physician, Dr. Bryce Leontowicz, are often a better choice than surgery for many joint and musculoskeletal conditions due to their minimally invasive nature, faster recovery, and lower risk. Unlike surgery, which typically requires anesthesia, incisions, and significant downtime, injections such as PRP, hyaluronic acid, or steroids can be performed quickly in an outpatient setting and allow you to return to daily activities much sooner. They also have fewer risks and complications, such as infections or scarring, and do not require lengthy rehabilitation. For many people, injections offer effective pain relief and improved function without the stress and uncertainty of surgery, making them an attractive first-line option for managing joint pain and inflammation.
Common types include PRP (platelet-rich plasma), hyaluronic acid, and steroid injections—each offering unique benefits.

Types of Joint Injections We Offer
Steroid Injections
Corticosteroid injections are used to reduce inflammation in affected joints, often providing fast and effective pain relief for arthritis or overuse injuries.
- Commonly treated areas: knees, shoulders, elbows, and wrists
- OHIP-covered with a referral from your physician
- Administered by a licensed provider in a clean, clinical setting
PRP
PRP therapy uses components of your own blood to stimulate healing and tissue repair in the joint, and it’s a popular choice for those seeking a regenerative, non-surgical option.
- Ideal for mild to moderate osteoarthritis, tendon-related injuries and some meniscus injuries
- May improve joint function and reduce inflammation over time
- Performed using your body’s natural healing properties
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Also known as “viscosupplementation”, it involves injecting hyaluronic acid — a substance found naturally in the body that attracts and binds to water molecules -– to lubricate and cushion the joints.
- Often used for knee osteoarthritis
- May reduce stiffness and improve mobility
- Can be a helpful alternative if steroids aren’t effective or appropriate
